Behold, Woolves! The lovely Autumn 2013 issue of What’s The Time, Mrs Woolf? is here! We launched this at the University of Gloucestershire Small Press Fair last weekend, and we were very pleased by the sales. One person bought a copy of every single issue we have in print, all the way back to Spring 2012! We’ll also be taking this one to London MCM Expo this coming weekend, I hope some of you can make it down to see us!
This issue includes:
A brilliant cover by regular contributor Gem Sheldrake! I had to get some photos without the overlay to show you all what a great spooky atmosphere it has.
A new Lesbian Hero by Lilywoolf, this time it’s Clare Balding!
A Sewing Sans Pattern by yours truly, showing you how to whip up a surgical mask.
An illustration by Amy West of a different kind of unicorn.
A horrible 6-page comic by regular contributor Meg Guindon, perfect to turn your stomach this Hallowe’en!
An illustration by Sephryn Grey, showing the seemingly mystical effect of inking work.
A new feature on sleep disorders by myself kicks off with the terrifying phenomenon of sleep paralysis!
A sweet and scary pair of wolves, in an illustration by Leslie Ghazarian.
A new Stale Symphony by comic-maker extraordinaire Sammy Borras, based on a true story!
And last but not least, Poppet returns to answer more questions from hapless humans.
Please look out for the call for submissions for our Winter 2013 issue! It’ll be coming very soon…
yes I drew a silly comic and Sarah and Lily put it in their zine.
(if you read a comic I wrote and its very silly, it’s probably based on a true story)
